MIG 17

Based on the MIG-15, the MIG 17 was one of the primary planes flown by the veitnamese / communists during the vietnam war.   It is distinguishable by the 3 wing fences, as opposed to 2 on the MIG-15, and a compound wing angle.  The MIG-17 also benefitted from the addition of a radar.   The 17 could achieve significantly higher speeds than the 15 due to aerodynamic improvements alone.

Armament:  1x 37 mm Nudelman N-37 cannon
                     2x 23 mm Nudelman-Rikhter NR-23 cannons
Up to 500 kg (1,100 lb) of external stores on two pylons
